Staysail Stay Storage

The Huddlestons' sailed across the Gulf of Mexico this past summer in their Valiant 40, Concerto (V40271). They have a way of storing their staysail stay, when using their Valiant as a sloop. The staysail stay is stored adjacent to the mast shrouds, as shown in this picture. Note also the use of a quick release mechanism to attach and detach the stay to padeyes.
