Tom & Peg Maynard, at the time this was written, are back home in Oriental, NC for Christmas, visiting friends children and grandchildren. In 1999  they completed an Atlantic crossing and left Starboard Home on the hard in Rota Spain. In 2000 they explored the eastern Mediterranean and wintered in Malta. In 2001 they were off to Greece, the Agenean and left the boat in Marmaris, Turkey while they are stateside.

While cruising they keep in touch through ham radio e-mail. (See article) The picture of Peg checking the GPS was taken in mid ocean and sent back to friends and family via this system.

Their son-in-law, Craig Bright, has been compiling all their reports and pictures into a great homepage documenting their voyage.

The picture at the left is Peg Maynard taking a noon sight that was transmitted from the boat while they were enroute to Bermuda.
