This project took a couple of months. Panels are Kyocera KC120's from Hamilton Ferris. Structural aluminum is from McMaster Carr. The panels have only been up for a few days, but so far they've been able to keep ahead of the 'fridge and watching Sunday afternoon football.
I had Valiant make me their standard arch "bare", with no antenna attachment points. The framework under the panels is an attempt to accommodate the fact that each half of the arch is narrower than each of the panels, and that the junction box precludes carrying a frame member down the middle of the panel.
An overview shot. In spite of my fears, the panels are not obtrusive, visually. They're 2' x 5', but don't overwhelm the stern. They sort of look like they belong there, don't they?
